Every Round Experience
1. Technical Screening
To assess my basic front-end development skills, I participated in a technical screening round. The interviewer asked questions about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They were interested in my knowledge of semantic markup, CSS layout techniques, and JavaScript fundamentals, among other things. Additionally, I was given a coding challenge to complete within a specified time limit. This stage was crucial as it demonstrated my ability to handle technical issues and solve problems effectively.
2. Technical Interview
The second round focused more on my technical abilities related specifically to the Web3 tech stack and projects. For instance, I was asked to explain how I would build responsive web interfaces and optimize website performance based on past experiences. There were also hypothetical scenarios where I had to integrate blockchains into front-end applications, testing my understanding of blockchain technology and its implications for front-end development.
3. Portfolio Presentation
In the third round, I presented my portfolio to an interviewing panel at Web3. I walked them through various projects I had worked on, highlighting those that showcased my ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. I detailed the problems encountered during each project and explained the creative solutions I provided. The interviewers were particularly interested in how I combined technology with design in front-end development.
4. Team Collaboration Assessment
The final stage assessed how well I could work with others from different departments within a company like Web3. It was a team event where we had to brainstorm solutions for a fictional project provided by the facilitator. I listened carefully to others, shared my thoughts, and contributed positively to the discussion, demonstrating good collaboration skills. This part of the interview gave me a glimpse of what working at Web3 would be like, emphasizing the importance of communication and teamwork in achieving common goals.
Final Result
After completing all the interview rounds, I was informed that I had been selected for the front-end developer position at Web3. The experience was challenging yet rewarding, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects at Web3.
